About Me
Salut! I'm a Congo native; French was my language of instruction for 19 years prior to relocating to an English-speaking country. Lingala is my native tongue, and I speak and teach Swahili as well. I enjoy holding virtual coffee chats in French for advanced level students (have been doing this for about 3 years now). I also teach private (one-on-one) beginners and intermediate French, Swahili, and Lingala classes. Though I'm somewhat of an introvert, I love the outdoors and meeting new people from all over the world. Don't hesitate to reach out to me for more information!

Thank you for your interest in my tutoring services. I take pride in working to guide my students through the discovery and exploration of the French language and culture. For my virtual learning sessions, I typically offer three types of learning packages for advanced, intermediate, and upper-intermediate:
All of my advanced level courses focus on conversational French. We focus on perfecting the use of passé simple, the passive and active forms and how to use direct and indirect speech through reading exercises. We also will watch videos, listen to French radio, TV, and music!
NEXT STEPS:
If you are a beginner's student, then you don't need to take the proficiency test. Please proceed to take the placement test prior to reaching out. A member of our team will follow up with you upon receipt of your submission.

Rate: $30/hr (1 session per week)

A free website for adults and children learning French as a second language. It consists of lessons, games and test to help learners improve/ reinforce their beginner French in a lively and enjoyable way.
Additional Services:
Other languages of instruction include Swahili and Lingala. My methodologies are the same as for French, but require special request. Additionally, I do offer written translation services. Policy for cancellation/change in schedule
Fees cannot be refunded once a course has started and no partial refund can be granted for classes not attended. We cannot accept any responsibility for unforeseen changes in students’ circumstances that may prevent attendance. Requests for cancellations and refunds must be made in writing before the course commences.
Refund
The following charges will apply: $30 if the written request is received more than 5 days before the course starts or 20% of the total course fee if the request is received 5 days or under before the first day of the course.
